HUB crashing when trying to access the “Special Mode Settings” if the user’s PC username contains special characters
Legacy Plantronics Devices which require the device to enter the “Special Settings Mode” e.g. the Voyager Legend.
Hub [all versions] – (Tested on versions up to Hub 3.14.1)
If the user’s PC username contains any special character (such as "é" in “tést") then Hub will crash when trying to access the “Special Mode Settings”.
The extended Unicode characters are not currently supported as a username in Hub.
Change the PC username so that it does not include special characters, or update “special mode settings” from a PC without special characters in the username.
