Marv Tseu


Mr. Tseu has been a member of the Board of Directors since 1999 and serves as Vice Chairman of the Board and the Lead Independent Director. Mr. Tseu has served as a Managing Director, since 2008, of Waypoint Strategies, a firm which advises companies' boards, CEOs and management on alignment of roles, responsibilities and actions to improve corporate performance. Mr. Tseu served as  CEO of Propel Media, an online advertising company from April, 2016 until his retirement in May 2020.  Previously, Mr. Tseu served as Chief Operating Officer of Exponential Interactive from June 2009 to September 2013. Exponential Interactive, Inc. is a leading global provider of advertising intelligence and digital media solutions to brand advertisers.

Marv Tseu has more than 30 years of experience founding, developing and leading networking and communication companies. From his early work developing AT&T's consumer products division, to the $1.4 billion acquisition of Internet infrastructure start-up SiteSmith, Marv has demonstrated an ability to identify large markets with unmet needs and the operational savvy to build companies. Marv grew SiteSmith, a provider of high-performance, mission-critical Internet site management services, from 11 employees in 1999 to 400 employees and $20M in revenues a year later.

Prior to co-founding SiteSmith, Marv was president of Structured Internetworks, Inc., a network communications hardware firm focused on facilitating enterprise traffic flow to the WAN and Internet. Previously, he led Plantronics' leveraged buyout and subsequent IPO. He held various positions at Plantronics including vice president of sales and marketing, and president of subsidiary Clarity. Marv also served as executive vice president of marketing and sales at publicly traded CIDCO, Inc., a telecommunications product company and was a member of their Board of Directors.

He holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
