Spokes Known Issue: Call answered on Plantronics device regardless of how it's configured in CIPC
IssueBeginning with the 2.7 release, Spokes alters the behavior of CIPC (Cisco IP Communicator) when used in conjunction with Plantronics devices. Audio for incoming calls is now routed by default to the Plantronics device, no matter which button in the CIPC GUI is used to answer the call (thereby overriding the CIPC ‘Audio’ settings).
CauseSpokes has been modified to change the default audio routing for ease of use when using Plantronics devices.
Workaround/ResolutionOnce the call is active, press the ‘Speaker’ or ‘Headset’ button in the CIPC GUI to reroute audio to the appropriate device (as configured in the ‘Audio’ tab of the CIPC ‘Preferences’ dialog box).
