Getting HTTP Error 413 Request entity too large when uploading .pup files into web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome)

Customer is getting an error message "413 Request entity too large" when uploading a pup file to the HDX web interface for upgrades. This issue is not specific to browsers, HDX hardware versions or HDX software versions.
The 413 status code indicates that the request was larger than the server can handle, either due to physical constraints or settings.

Why it occurs

Usually, this occurs when a file is sent using the POST method from a form, and the file is larger than the maximum size allowed in the server settings. The content of the request is more than the server can process. The request may have included a message body, which is not always permissible.

Fixing 413 Error Code

The problem can only be resolved by examining what your client system is trying to do and then discussing with your ISP why the Web server rejects the number of bytes sent by the client system.
