How to update Voyager 5200 headset’s firmware

The Voyager 5200 has the capability to update its firmware through a mobile app and/or a computer.

Update firmware with Mobile App
You can update the firmware on your Voyager 5200 by downloading the Plantronics HUB for iOS/Android app to your mobile phone. Access the “Settings” menu and tap the “Firmware Update” option. Your headset needs to be in range, connected, and your headset battery to at least 50%.

Update firmware with Plantronics HUB
You can update the firmware on your Voyager 5200 by downloading Plantronics HUB software on your Win/Mac computer. Connect the headset via the included USB cable and click on the “Notifications” tab, you will be notified if there are updates available for your headset, or you can also click on the “Check for Updates” option.

Note that some models are exceptions to this rule. Those models have specific update instructions in their  user guides.
