Back of Unit: CS50_base_rear.PNG Bottom of Unit: CS50_base_bottom.PNG   Volume Control Settings:
  • Speaking Volume: Make large adjustments to your speaking volume using the Speaking Volume Major Adjust switch on the bottom of the base (A is the softest and D is the loudest). Make incremental adjustments by pressing either of the Speaking Volume Minor Adjust buttons on the back of the base.
  • Listening Volume: Make large adjustments to your Listening volume using the Listening Volume Major Adjust switch on the back of the base (4 is the softest and 1 is the loudest). Make incremental adjustments on your headset.
Other Configuration Settings:
  • Compatibility: If you cannot hear a dial tone through the headset, your caller cannot hear you, or you hear buzzing or hissing in the headset, you should adjust the compatibility setting. To do so, use a coin or small screwdriver to turn the Telephone Configuration Dial on the left side of the base unit (see below) until the audio issue is resolved. Make sure the number is aligned to the position indicator.

  • Call Auto-Answer/Call Control (IntelliStand Switch): If you want to answer a call or trigger a dial tone by pressing the call control button on the headset, set the IntelliStand switch on the right side of the base unit (see below) to the off position (-). If you want to trigger a dial tone or automatically answer a call by taking the headset out of the base charging cradle, set the IntelliStand switch to the on position (=).
