This procedure explains how to install the APV-6B/APV-65/APV-66 EHS cable, which is compatible with the following Avaya phone models:

  • 4620
  • 4620SW
  • 4621SW
  • 4622SW
  • 4625SW
  • 4630SW
  • 5420
  • 5610
  • 5620
Software Requirements
  • 24xx and 54xx phone models require firmware version 4.0 or greater.
  • 46xx and 56xx phone models require firmware version 1.8 or greater.
Special Notes
The headset port on some phone models may be on the side of the phone.
To Install the EHS Cable
  1. On your base, set your compatibility switch and speaking and listening volumes to the following:
     
    Setting CS50/CS55/CS70/CS70N/ CS351N/CS361N
    Cable APV-6B    		 CS500 Series
    Cable APV-65 or APV-66    		 Savi Office/700 Series
    Cable APV-65 or APV-66
    Compatibility 3 A A
    Speaking Volume C 3 3
    Listening Volume 3 3 3
