USB Headset Troubleshooting: Headset not recognized by Avaya one-X Agent

What should I do if my Plantronics USB headset is not recognized by Avaya one-X Agent software?
This is an issue with Avaya one-X Agent (including the current version 2.5 SP1), where one-X Agent does not recognize the headset if you connect the headset after you launch the software. Avaya will address this issue in a future release. 

The workaround for this is to connect the headset prior to launching the one-X Agent software. Whenever you have to restart the one-X Agent client or restart the PC, make sure you disconnect and reconnect the headset prior to starting the one-X Agent software.
