Pair Backbeat 906 to its Adapter/Cell Phone

To pair your Backbeat 906 to its Bluetooth adapter:
  1. Start with the headset powered off. Press and hold the power button for 5-6 seconds, until light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Release the power button and set the headset aside.
  2. With the adapter powered off, press and hold the power button for 5-6 seconds, until the light on the adaptor starts flashing and alternating red-blue. The headset and adaptor lights will flash blue once they have paired successfully.
To pair your Backbeat 906 to a cell phone:
  1. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth feature.
  2. Start with the headset powered off. Press and hold the power button for 5-6 seconds, until light on the headset starts flashing an alternating red-blue. Release the power button and set the headset aside.
  3. On your cell phone/device, go to the Bluetooth menu and search for (or add) a device. The cell phone should find the headset. The headset will appear as "9xxBackBeat" in your list of devices.
  4. If prompted for a passkey, enter 0000 (four zeros). Note: Do not be alarmed if your phone does not prompt you for a passkey, because many phones do not.
