Do HDX Series systems support High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection?
High-Bandwidth Digital Content, HDCP, is a method of digital rights management (DRM) used in some DVI-D and all HDMI implementations. This is a technology used by content providers, such as movie studios, to protect the copyrights of their media (e.g. DVD’s). The media itself specifically controls whether or not the mechanism is enabled.
The Polycom® HDX® Series systems do not support content protection on either input or output.
