Daniel Moloney joined the Poly board of directors in July 2018. He brings over 30 years of senior executive management, strategic and operational oversight, technological expertise and experience in the telecommunications, technology and technology-enabled business service sectors. Since 2013, Moloney has served as an Executive Partner at Siris. He serves as Executive Chairman of privately owned affiliate companies of Siris, including Digital River, Inc., Stratus Technologies, Inc., and formerly Polycom, Inc., which was acquired by Plantronics on July 2, 2018. He is also a board member of TiVo, Corp.
Prior to his time at Siris, Moloney served as the President of Motorola Mobility, Inc., a leading provider of innovative technologies, products, and services for the mobile and cable/wireline industries. Previously, he served as the President of the Home and Networks Mobility business within Motorola – a worldwide leader in both video and broadband wireless solutions. From 2002-2006, he ran the Connected Home business for Motorola. He joined Motorola in 2000 as part of the acquisition of General Instrument, where he held a number of management positions.
Moloney holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
