DA45 Troubleshooting: Call Control Issues with Avaya 2050 IP Softphone

Call control is broken with DA45 (PerSono Call installed) and Avaya 2050 IP softphone (previously known as Nortel i2050). Can this be fixed?
When the DA45 was modified, it broke call control compatibility with Nortel i2050 softphone. You can differentiate the new DA45 from the old one by looking at the adapter. The new DA45 has only one inline control between the USB plug and quick disconnect end. The old DA 45 has an inline control and an additional printed circuit board between the USB plug and the quick disconnect end. This has been fixed in PerSono Call 2.11.8. With this version of PerSono Call the new DA45s will provide call control with the Avaya 2050 IP softphone.
