Frank Baker joined the Poly board of directors in July 2018. He brings to this role extensive experience in the telecommunications, technology and technology-enabled business service sectors. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Siris Capital Group and a board member of all Siris portfolio companies, as well as Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.
Baker previously served as a Managing Director and founding partner at S.A.C. Private Capital Group from 2007 until 2011, when he co-founded Siris. Before founding SAC PCG, Baker was Managing Director at Ripplewood Investments where he was responsible for making various private equity investments. He also served as an Associate at J.P. Morgan Securities, Inc. in the capital markets group and as an analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in the mergers and acquisitions group.
Baker has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Mr. Baker also serves as a trustee of the University of Chicago.
