CS500 Series Troubleshooting: Auto answer does not work as expected

  • I set the auto answer switch to "on" but my calls are not automatically answered
     
    or
     
  • I set the auto answer switch to "off" but my calls are still automatically answered.
What can I do?
Issue One of two issues may be occurring:
  1. Even though the auto answer switch is set to the "on" position (green), calls are not answered automatically.
  2. Even though the auto answer switch is set to the "off" position (red), calls are answered automatically.
Cause The auto answer feature does not take effect until after you press the call control button. Resolution After setting the auto answer switch to the desired setting, press the call control button once for the setting to take effect.
