DuoPro Troubleshooting: Callers Cannot Hear Me

When I make a call from from my DuoProH171/H171N, callers are unable to hear me. How can I fix this issue?
If you are unable to hear the caller, the following may help fix the issue:
  • For Voice Tube model  H171, determine if there is a voice clog or the position is incorrect. Plantronics recommends replacing voice tube every six to nine months.
  • For Voice Tube model, a temporary solution to fix the voice clog is to gently rinse the voice tube in warm water for a minute and then manually swing or shake it dry. Ensure the voice tube is completely dry before reattaching it.
  • For Noise Canceling model H171N, ensure that the microphone is facing your mouth and positioned correctly.
  • Ensure that the transmit volume control of the modular adapter is properly set.
